Terms & Program Policy

Please read before applying. By enrolling you agree to the terms below.

1. About the programme

The KADA Program is a training programme of KADA (Korea–ASEAN Digital Academy). Students learn to produce short-form AI video across two tracks — AI Remixing and Virtual Influencer — and produce a portfolio of published videos. The programme has a dual purpose: to train you, and to produce content for the academy's brand partners (current examples: Nongshim, CNP, Korean beef, Revlon). The brand worked on in any cohort is determined by live brand need at the time.

Each student commits to approximately 135 hours of work (around 33 hours onsite and 102 hours of homework/production) and aims to publish 20 remix videos to their channel across Weeks 1–4, plus one complete Virtual Influencer set in Week 6.

2. Your commitments

By enrolling, you agree to:

  • Attend at least 80% of scheduled onsite sessions.
  • Complete each week's assignments and work toward the full output quota: 20 remix videos in Weeks 1–4 and one complete Virtual Influencer set in Week 6.
  • Publish only organic content — never paid-boosted — for any competition-eligible post.
  • Keep all content brand-safe, claim-compliant and rights-clean.
  • Treat trainers, peers and brand partners with respect, and keep brand materials confidential.
  • Accept the content-rights arrangement in Section 7.

3. Attendance

Attendance is recorded for every onsite session and is the one element trainers actively monitor. A minimum of 80% attendance is required across the 33 scheduled onsite hours. Excused absences (illness, emergency) should be notified to the Program Admin in advance and are handled reasonably. Falling below the threshold triggers a review and may draw a strike.

4. Output & quota

You are expected to reach 20 published remix videos by the end of Week 4, meeting weekly checkpoints so any problem surfaces early, and to deliver one complete Virtual Influencer set by the end of Week 6:

CheckpointCumulative remix videos
End of Week 1≥ 1
End of Week 2≥ 8
End of Week 3≥ 15
End of Week 4≥ 20 (remix quota complete)
End of Week 620 remix + 1 complete VI set

Shortfalls caused by a genuine production bottleneck that the programme owns (for example a tooling or footage-access issue) are not counted against you — they are escalated to the relevant trainer.

5. Content integrity — the organic-only rule

Because rewards and brand value both depend on real, organic performance, this is the most strictly enforced rule.

No paid boosts. No bought or bot views. No fabricated analytics. Using TikTok "Promote", YouTube paid promotion, Meta "Boost", third-party view services, or doctoring your analytics on a competition-eligible post is prohibited.

How it is verified

  • You sign an organic-only declaration at intake.
  • For each claim you submit a live screen-recording of your video's analytics showing the traffic-source breakdown (with no paid/ad source).
  • Claims are anomaly-audited — view spikes that don't match engagement and retention are held for manual review.
  • Competition-eligible posts may be required to run on accounts where the programme has analytics visibility.

Honest mistakes self-reported before payout are corrected without penalty. Detected paid boosting disqualifies the video, forfeits related bonuses and is a strike (see Section 8).

6. Rewards & scoring

The indicative bonus pool is 10,000,000 VND per cohort (the Program Lead sets the final figure). There are three separate competitions, each with a distinct scoring method:

AMS Weekly Competition — 1,500,000 VND total

Runs in Weeks 2–4. Each week is one round: the student with the highest total organic views across that week's published videos wins 500,000 VND. The winning total must exceed 1,000 views — if no student clears this floor, no award is paid that week. One winner per week; a student may win more than one week.

Final Winner — 2,000,000 VND

Decided at the end of Week 6. The single student with the highest total organic views across both modules — AMS (Weeks 2–4) and Virtual Influencer (Weeks 5–6) — takes the prize.

Virtual Influencer Competition — 2,000,000 VND

Decided on craft, not views. Each student's complete VI set is graded out of 100 on a fixed rubric covering character design, SNS images, video, identity consistency, and process & ethics. The single highest-scoring set takes the prize.

AMS Weekly Competition (×3 weeks)1,500,000 VNDHighest organic weekly views (min 1,000)
Final Winner2,000,000 VNDHighest total organic views, both modules
Virtual Influencer Competition2,000,000 VNDHighest craft rubric score

All bonuses are paid at programme close, with a 72-hour dispute window after each result. The Program Lead's decision is final.

7. Content rights & intellectual property

You retain a portfolio of your work and may showcase it. At onboarding you assign to the academy the rights to use the videos and production assets you create in the programme for the academy's brand work. This includes source libraries, scripts, AI B-roll, characters and finished videos. Strong, brand-safe work may be deployed in live brand campaigns.

You are responsible for ensuring the footage, music and assets you use are rights-clean. Using material you have no right to use, after warning, is a violation.

8. Strikes & grounds for removal

Most issues are handled through a graduated strike system so you always have a chance to correct course:

StageAction
Strike 1Written warning + improvement plan
Strike 2Final warning + probation (bonus eligibility paused)
Strike 3Removal review by the Program Lead

Strike-based removal may follow from

  • Attendance below 80% and not recovered.
  • Repeatedly missing weekly deliverables or the quota without a programme-owned cause.
  • Repeated late delivery, or repeated minor brand-safety or conduct issues.

Immediate removal review (skips strikes) for

  • Paid-boosting, buying views, bots, or fabricating analytics (fraud against the bonus pool).
  • Plagiarism or serious, knowing rights infringement.
  • Harassment, discrimination, threats or violence.
  • Leaking or selling confidential brand/programme materials, or posting brand-bound assets externally without authorisation.
  • Refusing the agreed content-rights assignment.
  • Producing illegal content, or any content that endangers or sexualises minors.

Process

The issue is logged and you are notified in writing with the specific facts. You have 72 hours to respond or appeal. The Program Lead makes the final decision. On removal, bonus eligibility ends from that date, access is revoked, and rights already assigned in submitted output remain with the academy.

9. Privacy

Information you submit when applying is used only to assess and administer your participation. It is not sold. Analytics screenshots/recordings you submit are used solely to verify bonus claims.

10. Contact
